    Abstract:

    The ripening color and growth cultured germination of chestnuts after microwave processing was observed to analyze microwave radiation damage to materials. Short time and high-power processing will reduce the ripening degree of the chestnut, but whether chestnut life activity or rice life activity in the microwave would be affected. Rice germination rate is only 0~8% after microwave treatment if 10% of the rice water is removed, so special attention to the impact on the life activity is necessary in the processing of microwave materials like seeds.
