A common used non-resonance piezoelectric knock sensor based on body vibration principle was studied. The knocking signal was processed using knocking signal processing chip HIP9011 and ATmega16L microprocessor under the control of main singlechip 80C196KC. Moreover, a knocking judgment method was studied based on HIP9011 and knocking judgment procedure was designed. The results prove that processing knocking signal using HIP9011 and further actualizing knocking feedback control is feasible. The method can satisfy the demand of engine ignition and management system to the knocking check.
